Common Questions
What homeowners ask before booking
How long does an epoxy garage floor take to install?
Most residential garages in the Cuyahoga Falls area are prepped and coated in one day. You can walk on it the next morning and park on it after about 72 hours of cure time.
Will epoxy peel off my concrete?
Peeling almost always traces back to prep. We diamond grind every slab to a mechanical profile instead of acid etching, so the coating bonds into the concrete rather than sitting on top of it.
Can you coat a floor with cracks or pitting?
Yes. Cracks, spalling and pits are cut, filled with structural repair compound and ground flat before the base coat goes down. That work is included in your written estimate.
Does epoxy hold up to Ohio road salt and hot tires?
Our systems finish with a polyaspartic top coat that resists salt, de-icer, oil and hot-tire pickup, and stays UV stable so it won't yellow near the garage door.
How much does an epoxy floor cost?
Pricing depends on square footage, slab condition and the system you choose. Estimates are free, on site and given as a flat written price before any work starts.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and travel up to 74 miles — covering Akron, Stow, Hudson, Kent, Tallmadge, Twinsburg, Medina and the surrounding communities.
What is your standard concrete coating installation process?
At MajestiCoat Epoxy Flooring, we never use cheap chemical acid washes. Our commercial-grade installation process includes mechanical diamond grinding down to raw concrete, application of a dedicated moisture vapor barrier epoxy primer, a heavy-duty 100% solids epoxy base coat, full decorative flake or quartz broadcast to absolute saturation, and a premium UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat that resists hot-tire pickup and chemical damage.
Do you offer a warranty on your garage floor coatings?
Yes. Because we focus heavily on foundational diamond grinding and use industrial-grade materials, we back our full broadcast flake systems with an industry-leading up to 21-year delamination warranty protecting your investment against peeling, cracking, or lifting.
What areas in Northeast Ohio do you service?
We are proudly based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Our local service footprint extends throughout the broader Northeast Ohio region, including Akron, Hudson, Stow, and Cleveland for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.
What is the difference between professional epoxy and DIY store-bought kits?
Retail DIY paint kits are typically water-based, thin, and rely on chemical washes that fail to open concrete pores, breaking down within 2 to 5 years. MajestiCoat systems utilize industrial mechanical diamond grinding and multiple industrial-grade coats of 100% solids epoxy and polyaspartic polymers built to last decades.
